What don't I do?

I am not a psychotherapist and do not address issues that require an in-depth emotional exploration into your past. If during our
work we find that you would be better served by someone who can help you make change at a deeper level for increased happiness
and enhanced ability for achieving your goals, I can recommend an excellent advocate for you. The goal is getting you the best
service you require to meet your potential.
I've been working with people like you for almost 10 years. I have graduate degrees in human behavior (cultural/psychological
anthropology) and have been h
elping clients make improvements for a long time. I understand how you, your needs, and your goals
fit within your home, community, and local culture. This is what makes me different from other coaches: I understand how you fit
within a wider community-oriented context. No one lives in a vacuum
and we are all individuals--every single one of us! And
appropriate goals cannot be set without understanding how your surroundings affect you, and what you can do about it.

Since you'll be telling me about yourself, I'll tell you a bit about myself. I have a cat, I love to garden, I love to cook for friends, I love to
kayak, camp, and hike! I love to dig for rocks and you'll see some of my collection of sticks, rocks, and other natural things in my
office. I've achieved many goals in my life including getting two graduate degrees on my own, changing careers (twice) when
everyone thought I was nutso, writing a book, and leaving a "good" job to start my own business for increased happiness. Goals I
continue to work at are a balanced life/work ratio, physical fitness, and improved communication with my family! My bad habits
include procrastination and a tendency towards chaos theory in my house. :-) But my office is neat as pin. Make an appointment to
